I wanted the designs to feel both ornate and meaningful. I began by exploring two different compositions, focusing on weaving the story’s symbolism directly into the framing, the moth, the moon phases, the hearts, and the weapons all become part of the visual language of the piece.

My goal was to interlace classic gothic architecture with a sense of soft elegance, and to let the entire scene live in moonlight, carrying a quiet, romantic atmosphere.
